20.Message passage 2.

"We all ought to make sacrifices for literature. Look at me. I'm going to England without a protest. All for literature."


I think this is a message to people who are interested in literature or writing.  It's saying that he wasn't really prepared but he continued for literature. It's sort of like a motivation to those who are interested in writing, saying even if you don't think you're ready you should at least try. I think it also links back because he is a writer himself.
