30.reflection paragraph on sources

I was fairly sucessful with my sources, although i didnt find a direct answer as to why the book was banned. The most biased source would have to bo yahoo.com its basically comments people post instead of actual facts. The most trustworthy source would have to be sparknotes, it gives the chapters reviews and a whole book overview. It's made up of everything that is need to know what the book is about. It's a very helpful source.

28. Relfection on findings and process

During my book i learned a lot about censorship and banning of books. I really didn't understand how book were banned or why. I had never really read a banned book until now. I didn't realize the content that some book contained. It surprised me that authors would write such things is book. The most interesting thing I learned is that almost anyone can challenge a book. The easiest part of the project was making up questions to be answered throughout the project. The most difficult part was finding controversial passages. If I could do it over again, I would do it as quickly as possible instead of procrastinating

27. finding paragraph 3

The last of my questions about the books and banned was what are the standards for a book to be banned. There really are no specific standards, it basically depends on who it was to challenge the book. It depends on how persuasive they are with their reasoning for challenging the book.

26. finding paragraph 2

another one of my questions was who is in cotrol of banning books. I found out that multiple groups review newly published book to see if they are fit for the public and perhaps school. Some books may be banned from school but open to public. It all depends on who reviews it and what the book contains.

25. finding paragraph 1

One of my search questions for this book was, why was it banned? I didn't get a direct answer. I couldnt findout why it was banned. Based off of what I did find and what I read ,profanity and sexual content is why it was banned.

22. Quote caption citation

Censorship, the suppression of words, images, or ideas that are "offensive."

Paraphrase: Censorship is when individuals have words images or ideas that are approved by publishers that shouldn't be according to the readers. Sometimes publishers don't things as being very offensive until the readers/viewers create complaints. Once complaints are made others tend to join in until ultimately the book/quote/ image etc is banned or censored.
